In this article, we will walk you through QR codes on projects in Inspectly, how they can be used in connection to fast and precisely find the correct project or subproject by scanning a physical QR code. It can be a QR code you already have created or one generated by Inspectly.
In this article, you will find:
Create a QR code on a project/subproject
To create a QR code on a project you will need to follow these steps:
Project data > Master data & professions > Advanced > Barcode for search > Download QR code > Save
On subprojects you have to follow these directions to create a QR code:
Project data > Subprojects > Select a subproject > Barcode for search > Download > Save
When you have clicked the Download QR code, a PDF will be generated with the CR code, that you can print and hang where it's needed.
Tip! If you have your own, all you need to do is write the text for your own code in the "Barcode for search" and skip the press download step.
Use the CR code in the app
In the app on the project view, you can see a QR code icon i the top right corner, press this to activate the scanner to scan the QR code, it will then open on the project the QR code leads to.
