Statuses on the app
When you create a change order through the Inspectly app, it is mandatory to specify a status for the change order. You have two options when choosing the status for your change order. The two statuses are: "Draft" and "Sent for approval"
Inspectly's administration page offers a wider selection of statuses for your change orders. Click HERE to learn more about the different statuses.
The difference between the two status options will now be explained:
Draft
When you choose to create your change order with the status "Draft," only your internal organization can access the change order and receive notifications about its creation. Your external organizations and subcontractors will not be able to access or view the change order as long as it remains in the "Draft" status.
Sent for approval
When you create a change order with the status "Sent for approval," it means that your change order is ready to be sent to the external organizations that need to approve it. Therefore, you should only set the status to "Sent for approval" when you are certain that your change order is ready for approval.
