Question details in Digital QA forms make it possible to add supplementary information to each individual question in your forms. This allows you to include information, images, or documents with each question to help the craftsman remember or understand how to answer the question or how to carry out the inspection correctly. By keeping this information under Question Details, it is always easily accessible when the form is being filled out.

In this article, you will find a guide on how to use question details in your Digital Checklists.

Note: Be aware of whether your form is global or project-specific. Depending on whether you want to add question details to a global form or a project-specific form, you need to add them either at the project-level or at the global-level.

You can check whether your checklist is global or project-specific by:

Clicking on the relevant project ➜ Checklists ➜ Settings; Checklists

If there is a "checkmark" next to the checklist, it is global, and you need to add question details at the global level.

If there is no "checkmark" next to the checklist, it is a project-specific checklist, and you need to add question details at the project level.

Set up Question Details in Checklists.

Global ➜ Checklists ➜ Settings; Checklists➜ Click on the pencil next to the relevant checklist ➜ Expand (Click on the downward-pointing arrow) the question text for the question you want to add details to ➜ Click on "question details" ➜ Customize question details ➜ Save changes ➜ Save checklist.

You now have the following options:

• Hide documentation button on the app
• Question description
• Add document or upload image (.jpg, .jpeg, .png)
• Description for control plan

Hide documentation button on the app - The "add documentation" option will not be available on the app.

Question description

Here you can add question descriptions/help text for individual questions. Below you can see how the question description appears on the app

Add document or upload image (.jpg, .jpeg, .png)

Here you can add an image or document to your question text. You can add an existing document from "Global files" or upload a new one

Description for control plan 

Here you can describe questions for the control plan printouts.
