This article covers how to upload or remove a drawing, as well as the use of drawing folders.

Add a new drawing
Your projects ➜ Select project overview ➜ Select a project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Hover over "Create" ➜ Click on "Drawing" ➜ Click on "Upload drawing in PDF format" ➜ Select drawing ➜ Click on "Save"
Select the desired drawing to upload from your files and finish by clicking "Save."
Your drawing is now associated with the chosen project.
Upload a drawing revision
Your projects ➜ Select project overview ➜ Select a project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Click on the "Pencil" to the right of the drawing you want to upload a revision for ➜ Scroll down the page ➜ Click on "Upload revision" ➜ Upload new drawing ➜ Click on "Save"
Users in the app and on the computer will now see the new drawing when they select "Mark on drawing".
Note: Markers created on a previous version of the drawing will still be saved.
Associate drawings with one or more subprojects
Your drawings can be linked to specific subprojects if you want a clear division of the drawings and other material relevant for your users.
Your projects ➜ Select project overview ➜ Select a project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Click on the "Pencil" ➜ Scroll down the page ➜ Select subprojects ➜ Click on "Save"
When a drawing is linked to a specific subproject, the following symbol will appear next to the drawing:
Note! Hover over the symbol to see which subprojects the drawing is linked to.
Use of drawing folders
Drawing folders are used to organize and structure various types of drawings, such as floor plans and building sketches. The drawing folders can be configured to suit your needs and linked to specific sub-projects.
Create a drawing folder
Your projects ➜ Select project overview ➜ Select a project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Hover over "Create" ➜ Click on "Folder" ➜Adjust the folder settings ➜ Click on "Save"
Settings for drawing folders
- Active: If there is a blue checkmark next to the "Active" setting, the folder can be accessed and used by your users.
- Visible on phone: If there is a blue checkmark next to the "Visible on phone" setting, your users using the Inspectly app can access and use drawings from the folder on their phone.
- Visible on ProjectWeb: If external organizations are linked to your project, it may be relevant to enable the "Visible on ProjectWeb" setting. This option allows you to create a project-specific folder with relevant drawings that external organizations can access from ProjectWeb.
- Professions: If you have a project involving different professions, it may be relevant to create drawing folders with drawings specific to each group. This ensures that your professions always have the correct drawings at hand.
Associate drawing folders with subprojects
Your drawing folders can be linked to specific subprojects if you want a clear division of the drawings and other material relevant for your users.
Your Projects ➜ Select Project Overview ➜ Choose a Project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Select one or more drawing folders ➜ Click on "Select Action" ➜ Click on "Link to subprojects"
Select the subprojects to which your drawing folders should be linked, then click "Save".
Delete one or more drawings
Your projects ➜ Select project overview ➜ Select a project ➜ Click on "Drawings" ➜ Select one or more drawings ➜ Click on "Select action" ➜ Click on "Delete" ➜ Type "Delete all" ➜ Click on "Delete"
Note: When you delete one or more drawings, all revisions of the drawings are also deleted.
