Photo Documentation can be customized based on how you want your individual Photo Documentation types when registrations are made.
In this article, you will find:
Create a new photo documentation type
Click on Global ➜ Photo Documentation ➜ Settings; Set up types ➜ Create type ➜ Fill in the information ➜ Save
Now fill in the following settings.:
1. Type
Name the new Photo documentation type. The name of the type is what you can see on the project, both in the app and on the admin page.
2. Location
- Placement text: What you write here is a help text for, for example, where the registration is made. This text will appear on printouts and will replace the "Location" text.
- Require floor plan marker: Used if you want to require a marking on a floor plan.
- Required location text: Used if you want to require a placement text.
- Allow barcode scanning for placement text: Used if you want the option to scan a barcode or a QR code in the app. The information that will appear in the location text here is the data stored in the code, such as a link, a text, or a location.
- Allow marking on the map in the app: Used if you want the ability to make a marking on a map in the app.
3. User group permissions for app
If you use different user groups, their settings can be adjusted here.
4. Projects
Select the projects where the type should be visible on.
Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen, and your Photo Documentation type will be completed!
Edit an existing type
Global ➜ Photo Documentation ➜ Settings; Set up types ➜ Click on the blue pencil to the right of the type you wish to edit ➜ Edit the type ➜ Save
Edit the types accessible on a project
Click on the relevant project ➜ Photo Documentation ➜ Settings; Types on the project.
The Photo Documentation types that have a checkmark in the box will be the types displayed to the users.
