Edit an inspection

Edit scheduling and assignees
Once you have opened an inspection ➜ Scroll down to "Scheduling" or "Assignee" ➜ Click on the pencils
Edit settings for recurring task
Once you have opened an inspection ➜ Scroll down to the "Recurring task" section ➜ Click on the pencil
Here you can switch from a single inspection task to a recurring task or vice versa, and edit the settings for the recurring task:
- Deadline criteria for automatically created recurring tasks
- Responsible users/professions/user groups for future tasks
Note! The "Select users" option can vary based on your settings.
Edit text fields and priority
Once you have opened an inspection ➜ Edit directly in the text fields or open the drop-down for priority.
Remember to click "Save changes" at the bottom right, otherwise these text changes will not be saved:
Edit inspection status
Your projects ➜ Select project ➜ Inspection ➜ Registrations; Inspection ➜ Click on "Inspection" ➜ Click "Open" in the preview ➜ Select action ➜ Select status ➜ Fill in data ➜ Click "Update"
Click on "Select action" and choose the status from the drop-down menu that you want to switch to:
Now you have the option to attach a comment to the status change, edit observers who need to be notified, and upload any relevant documentation.
Click "Update" in the pop-up window and remember to click "Save changes" at the bottom right.
Example: Status Change to "Rejected"
In this example, we have chosen to change the status to "Rejected" for an inspection that was already completed because the customer has reported that they are not satisfied.
Therefore, we also write the reason for the rejection in the comment field and state that we expect the responsible person to review the inspection again on-site to ensure everything is done correctly.
You could also attach documentation in the form of an email from the customer or similar, if relevant.
When "Update" and "Save changes" are clicked, an email is sent to the responsible person and observers, where the status change and the comment can be seen.
Note! From the app, it is not possible to re-perform the same inspection task or edit the checklist responses for individual equipment. However, this can be done via the administration page by users with the "Project Manager" or "Administrator" user types. Alternatively, a new standalone inspection task must be created to perform the inspection of specific pieces of equipment again in the app.
Edit checklist response
Your projects ➜ Select project ➜ Inspection ➜ Registrations; Inspection ➜ Click on the inspection ➜ Click "Open" in the preview ➜ Select the "Equipment" tab ➜ Click "Edit"
In the "Equipment" tab, you can see an overview of the equipment included in the inspection.
Find the correct equipment and click "Edit" under Checklist Response on the right:
The checklist response will then open, and you have the option to edit the answer to each question by clicking the pencil icon next to the question.
You can also edit the "Created by" and the date/time of the checklist response by clicking the pencil icon at the top right of the "Master data" field.
