Grant external access to ProjectWeb

In this article, you will find a guide on how to grant existing external users access to ProjectWeb. Before you can successfully grant an external user access, a link to your ProjectWeb page must be created.

Grant External Organisations access to ProjectWeb

Account ➜ Users ➜ External Organisations ➜ Edit the External Organisation ➜ Scroll down to the contact/user and look under "2. User access" ➜ Enable "Allow access to ProjectWeb" ➜ Select registration types under "Type access to ProjectWeb" ➜ Click "Save"

Edit the external organisation and enable the setting "Allow access to ProjectWeb" for the contact person or persons who need access and a login to ProjectWeb.

Under "Type access to ProjectWeb", select which registration types the contact person will see on projects in ProjectWeb. Check all the registration types that should be visible.

Click "Save", and the contact person will receive an email with information and login details for ProjectWeb, where they will be able to see the projects and registration types they have been granted access to.

 

Grant Subcontractors access to ProjectWeb

Account ➜ Users ➜ Subcontractor ➜ Edit the Subcontractor company ➜ Scroll down to the contact/user and look under "2. User access" ➜ Enable "Allow access to ProjectWeb" ➜ Select registration types under "Type access to ProjectWeb" ➜ Click "Save"

Edit the subcontractor company and enable the setting "Allow access to ProjectWeb" for the contact person or persons who need access and a login to ProjectWeb.

Under "Type access to ProjectWeb", select which registration types the contact person will see on projects in ProjectWeb. Check all the registration types that should be visible.

Click "Save", and the contact person will receive an email with information and login details for ProjectWeb, where they will be able to see the projects and registration types they have been granted access to.
