[Change Orders](https://help.inspectly.com/en/guides-for-use-and-setup?hsLang=en#change-orders) # Edit, revise, change status, and comment on a created change order In this article, you will find a guide on how to edit, revise, change status, and comment on a created change order. ### **Edit a change order** Your projects ➜ Select the relevant project ➜ Tasks ➜ Click on the type of change order you wish to edit ➜ Select the change order you wish to edit ➜ Open ![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20048176458653.png?width=1897&height=938&name=20048176458653.png) **Note:** Changes can only be made while the change order is in "Draft status". If the change order is in draft status, you can modify its description, subject, economy, documents, and internal/external assignees.   ### **Create a new revision** If you want to adjust your change order after it has been sent for approval or at a later stage, you must create a new revision. **Note!** If you create a new revision, the change order will no longer be available for download by the external organization. They will be able to see that a revision has taken place and see the history when switching to "sent for approval". Your projects ➜ Select the relevant project ➜ Tasks ➜ Choose the change order type ➜ Choose the change order you want to edit ➜ Open ➜ Click on "Create new revision" ➜ Click "Continue". ![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20048160552221.png?width=1896&height=874&name=20048160552221.png) ![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20048160554269.png?width=662&height=358&name=20048160554269.png) Doing so will change the change order status to the "Draft stage", and you can edit the change order information.   ### **Change order status** Your projects ➜ Select the project it concerns ➜ Tasks ➜ Choose the change order type ➜ Choose the change order you want to edit ➜ Click on "1.
