[Inspection](https://help.inspectly.com/en/guides-for-use-and-setup?hsLang=en#inspection) # Create Equipment ### **Create Equipment** Global ➜ Inspection ➜ Locations and Equipment ➜ Hover over "Create" ➜ Click on "Create Equipment" ➜ Fill in the data ➜ Scroll to the bottom and click "Save" ![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20522672414237.png?width=531&height=558&name=20522672414237.png) #### **Now fill in the following:** **![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20522705132061.png?width=776&height=695&name=20522705132061.png)** 1. **Location** ➜ Select the project/location where the equipment will be registered 2. **Type** ➜ Select equipment type (**\***) 3. **Standard inspection checklist** ➜ Select the checklist to be filled out during the inspection 4. **Date of last inspection** ➜ For example, if your next inspection is due on 01-12-2024 and your inspection frequency is 12 months, enter the date 01-12-2023 as the date of the last inspection 5. **Inspection frequency** ➜ Enter the number of months between each inspection **\***When you have selected an equipment type, the corresponding fields to be filled out for the equipment will be displayed, for example: ![](https://help.inspectly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20522672423837.png?width=768&height=296&name=20522672423837.png) #### **Add an additional inspection:** If the equipment requires multiple types of inspections, an additional inspection can be added with a different checklist and inspection frequency. For example, if you need to perform a major annual inspection as well as a smaller maintenance inspection every quarter.
